Electrical Engineering is one of the fundamental branches of engineering which deals with the technology of electricity, especially the design & application of circuitry & equipments for power generation & distribution, machine control & communication.
Department of Electrical Engineering has been established in 2012. The department has well qualified, experienced faculty & well equipped laboratories such as Electrical Machines, Basic Measurement & Relay, Power System, Industrial Electronics, Microprocessor lab.
As the electrical energy is basic need of every country electrical engineers find wide scope in Government Organizations like MSEB, MAHGENCO, MAHTRANCO, MAHDISCO, Indian Railways, Indian Army, DRDO Also it has a wide scope in private sectors with organizations like Reliance Energy, Crompton Greaves, Siemens, L & T, TOSHIBA. etc.
